DEER BLINDS
Our blinds have 12 inch on-center, pressure-treated floor joist and rafters with hurricane rafter ties. Everything is constructed using Torx screws for extreme structural integrity and is built with meticulous craftsmanship. All blinds include pallet skids.
Grade A “Prime”: Engineered for durability and performance, the Grade A "Prime" Blind is constructed with Torx screws and features professionally manufactured windows and a secure door system. This design ensures superior protection from pests and serves as an effective barrier against wind and the elements. The blind’s structure features pressure-treated structural siding panel walls and soffits, all prepped for painting. It’s built using LP® SmartSide® siding and trim products, treated with a proprietary SmartGuard® process that provides four layers of protection. This treatment enhances strength and resistance to impact, freeze/thaw cycles, high humidity, and fungal decay. Additional construction highlights include pressure-treated fascia boards, floor joists, flooring, and rafters. The low-slope roof is designed with a protective overhang, front and rear drip edges, and is topped with a granule-surfaced modified bitumen roofing membrane—ideal for low-slope applications. Hurricane rafter ties add extra security in extreme conditions. The window system is built with fully weather-stripped aluminum frames and marine-glazed, double-strength glass for enhanced insulation and durability. Window dimensions and placement can be fully customized to suit your needs—whether for rifle or bow hunting. Just below the front windows, an interior pine shelf with barrel rests adds functional storage and support. To ensure a comfortable and quiet interior, all construction seams are sealed to retain warmth and scent while keeping unwanted critters out. The interior is finished with window and corner trim, and the floor is lined with a durable rubber stall mat for sound dampening and comfort.
Grade A “Trophy Buck”: Includes all the core features of the Grade A “Prime” model, such as Torx screw construction, professionally manufactured aluminum-framed, weather-stripped windows with marine glaze double strength glass, and fully customizable window dimensions for rifle or bow use. Like the “Prime,” it features LP SmartSide siding and trim, treated with the same proprietary SmartGuard process to resist impact, moisture, and decay. However, the “Trophy Buck” comes with a tar-surfaced roof instead of the granule-surfaced roofing membrane, and does not include fascia boards, soffit, or the interior pine shelf with barrel rests. It still includes pressure-treated structural framing, sealed construction seams, window and corner trim, and a rubber stall mat floor for sound dampening.
Grade B “Pro”: Designed with budget and practicality in mind, the Grade B “Pro” model offers essential features for hunters who need a reliable blind without the added extras. This build includes standard untreated plywood wall panels and roof, with basic construction seams sealed for minimal weather protection. The door is a simple fabricated plywood panel without weather stripping, and windows are optional upgrades. There is no trim, interior shelf, or rubber mat flooring included. While this model sacrifices some premium materials and features, it still provides a functional and solid base for hunting setups in moderate conditions.
Grade C “Average Joe”: This build includes all the same features as the Grade B “Pro” with slight modifications for a more economical option. It is constructed using pressure-treated plywood for both the walls and the roof, offering basic durability and weather resistance. The roof remains flat and sealed with Thompson’s water seal, but without overhang or trim. The door is a simple fabricated panel, mounted in a weather-stripped frame to help reduce drafts and moisture intrusion. While it does not include premium siding or interior upgrades, the “Average Joe” is a dependable and cost-effective solution for hunters who want performance without the premium price tag.
